Ingredients
- 20 Ounces GROUND TURKEY
- 20 Ounces HOT ITALIAN TURKEY SAUSAGE, casings removed
- 1 Pound processed cheese, cubed
- 1 11-Ounce can sliced jalapeno peppers, drained
- 1 Medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 Pound Cheddar cheese, cubed
- 8 Ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 8 Ounces cottage cheese
- 8 Ounces sour cream
- 1 8-Ounce can diced tomatoes, drained
- 3 Medium garlic cloves, minced
- To taste salt and freshly ground black pepper
- As needed crisp crackers and tortilla chips
Instructions
- In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook and stir ground turkey and sausage until cooked through and all traces of pink have disappeared.
- Drain and transfer to a large slow cooker.
- Add processed cheese, jalapenos, onion, Cheddar and cream cheeses, cottage cheese, sour cream, tomatoes and garlic. Stir all ingredients in slow cooker set on HIGH.
- Add salt and pepper and cook, covered, for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until cheeses are melted.
- Serve with crackers and tortilla chips.
